New Map Server

We have recently installed a new map server. This new feature will allow users to explore our data visually for the first time. We are starting with two map interfaces, one is an interactive viewer of canopy cover change across the SE US from 1991 to 2001. The second in an interactive viewer of our Georgia Land Use Trends data (GLUT).We are working on an environmental atlas of GIS data for Georiga and we hope that it will be available shortly. We will continue to make datasets available for users via the Georgia GIS Data Clearinghouse, but we will try over time to increase the availability of our data via our map server and website. We are like all others, are living on limited resources, so we hope that we can continue to maintain our program and provide information and data to the Georgia Community. As always we would be glad to discuss partnerships and opportunities to those interested in collaborative activities.
